Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

People were unprofessional. Front desk employees would reschedule and change my appointment's without notifying me properly In a phone call. The company suggested a text should suffice for a change in Appointment, and were not understanding how unprofessional and not a good source of a conformation that was for clarification on the appointment itself. The company is supposed to close at 10 on weekdays but most go home due to not having any Masseuse that works past 7, which is weird on the weekdays because people get off work late. They weren’t accommodating. Spoke to the manager and the manager said they couldn’t compensate anything and would write in my chart Id perfer to be texted over appointment changes, which to me should be common sense. Not everyone checks all their messages with a busy schedule and people would show up for an appointment that was arranged at the original time as expected. Been to several hand and stones and all have acted weird and unprofessional. They also all act like they don’t want to take responsibilities for their incompetence. I’m giving it a one star due to the negligence I’ve seen with their customers over the year and a half I’ve been with them at several different locations.

Most men never get a facial but guys you don’t know what you’re missing and why not take care of that face. This is the place to do it. Maintain that face so the road miles don’t show. It was a great place to get my first facial and have been coming every other month to look and feel good about myself and the improvements have been amazing, highly recommend it.

I have a membership with Hand and Stone. Today I went to have a facial and massage. The facial was great. It was very relaxing. My massage was not the best. I told her to avoid a certain area in back cause it was very sensitive at the moment. Of course soon as she started to rub my back so fast and rough she went all the way down and hit my implant the spot I asked not to be touched. I asked for more pressure and she responded with a delay saying when I start massaging I will apply pressure. My bad I thought the massage had started. She hit me in the head twice while rubbing lotion on my back. She didn’t apologize. She never asked me how the pressure was or how I was feeling like most therapist do. She kept flinging the sheet back to get the area she was massaging. She shakes the sheet at one point so all the cold air can come over my body. A lot more was done I did not appreciate. She is rude and should work on her customer service skills. Her massage is ok though. Just rough and very fast. She didn’t even offer me any water when she was done. She said the massage ended and to have a nice day. Shantel is her name. Fyi. If you go there don’t get her. Ask for someone else. Everyone else I’ve encountered there has been nice and respectful. This visit was out of the norm.

I signed up for a membership. The problem was they were always so busy that they could never get me in on my schedule. Not even 1 time could I get in after paying several months. I called to cancel and they said they would continue to bill me 1 more time. I was just billed a day ago. When I said that was not going to be ok. They said with an ugly tone, they would make a note and tell a manager to call me. I wanted to discuss this further and ask how many visits I had pending but the girl rudely hung up on me, I could tell she had an attitude just by the way she sounded when she answered the phone. I guess she thought my issue was not important and she was not a manager so it was ok to be rude to me. I was not yelling or cussing or throwing a fit so I’m not sure how she justified the unprofessional action. Terrible customer service. I spent $100’s of dollars on service I’ve not been able to use. I was not asking for a refund. I was simply asking not to be billed again and had she given me the chance, wanted to know how many massages I was owed as they roll over if not used in that month. It felt like the dirty salesman snake oil trick, smile until the contracts signed. It’s sad how customer service is not important anymore.

Booked a men’s facial for 119 and added lip and eye treatment which the lady never even did. Also added the scalp massage $15 with brightening facial $20 and I added the $40 blue light. My appointment was for 2:45 and the lady was done at 3:25/3:30 with the facial and all the add on’s. Face looks the same no difference she rushed my session I felt like and just slapped on two creams. Please avoid and go to an actual dermatologist not a massage place trying to do facials. Even the scal massage was less than 5 minutes I’m honestly shocked how I added all these add ons and was done in 45 minutes. The lady name was Krista. She will rush you. Was even charged for lip eye treatment but never received it as well.
